The Color Mapping feature of Hex Workshop helps you visually identify data patterns, add visual cues, and de-emphasize uninteresting data by modifying the foreground and background colors of user defined byte patterns.

All of the Color Mapping commands are accessible from the "Tools" menu, under the "Color Mapping" sub menu. From this menu, you can add a new color map, editing existing color maps, clear all color maps, save color mappings, and recalling color maps.
